Situation: A Critical Platform Without a Vendor

Partner2Learn — a private-equity backed professional development organization operating under the tagline “Guide. Elevate. Transform.” — had developed Team8Rix, a proprietary strengths-based team intelligence platform built around CliftonStrengths assessment data. The platform was central to their service delivery, enabling coaches, HR leaders, and team managers to understand employee strengths, build high-performing teams, and drive personalized communication and development.

When their IT vendor abruptly departed, Partner2Learn was left with an operating platform they could not support, a product roadmap they could not execute, and client commitments they needed to fulfill. They needed an experienced technology partner who could step in immediately, take ownership of an unfamiliar codebase, and continue building without disruption.

Challenge: Codebase Takeover, Platform Stability, and a Full Product Roadmap

Full On Consulting was engaged to do four things simultaneously: analyze an existing codebase we had never seen, assume full responsibility for hosting and ongoing support, build out platform enhancements on Partner2Learn's roadmap, and develop a suite of professional reports that their coaches and clients depended on.

The Team8Rix platform itself maps 34 CliftonStrengths themes to Partner2Learn's proprietary 8-category framework — Traction, Driving, Seeing, Interpersonal, Lifestyle, Wild Cards, Problem Identification, and Problem Solving. The platform needed to surface this data meaningfully across multiple interfaces: a web application, a Microsoft Teams app, and an Outlook add-in — each requiring a distinct user experience while sharing the same underlying strengths data model.

The reporting requirement added another layer of complexity. Partner2Learn needed polished, multi-page professional reports that coaches could deliver to enterprise clients — covering individual profiles, team dynamics, organizational strength distribution, and new hire analysis. These reports needed to reflect the full depth of the CliftonStrengths framework and Partner2Learn's proprietary methodology.

Action: Stabilize, Enhance, and Deliver

Full On Consulting began with a comprehensive codebase analysis — documenting the existing architecture, identifying technical debt, mapping all platform dependencies, and establishing a clear baseline for ongoing development. We assumed hosting and support responsibilities, ensuring platform continuity while the enhancement work began in parallel.

On the platform side, we built out three core capability areas. The Communication Enhancer allows managers and team leaders to select an employee, view their top CliftonStrengths mapped to Partner2Learn's 8 categories, understand how to engage with them effectively, identify partner strengths for collaboration, and generate a fully AI-tailored communication specific to that employee's strengths profile. The Team Enhancer provides a category index view — comparing the expected distribution of strengths across Partner2Learn's 8 categories against the actual distribution for a given team, with color-coded index scoring to surface gaps and concentrations at a glance. The Strengths Grid renders a full visual matrix showing every team member's strengths across all 8 categories, giving leaders an immediate, comprehensive picture of their team's collective profile.

We delivered these capabilities across three distinct Microsoft integrations. The MS Teams app operates within chat, team, and meetings interfaces — making strengths data available in the context of everyday collaboration. The Outlook add-in detects the recipients on a new email and automatically surfaces the strengths grid, communication enhancer, and team viewer for those individuals — enabling strength-aware communication directly from a user's inbox before an email is sent.

On the reporting side, Full On Consulting designed and built four professional report formats. The StrengthsFirst 101: Personal Profile is a 10-page individual report covering a person's top strengths by category, descriptors, and combinations. The StrengthsFirst 102: CliftonStrengths Deep Dive provides a 13-page organizational or team analysis mapping Gallup themes to Partner2Learn categories with expected vs. actual index analysis. The Team Structure Deep Dive compares team configurations — including what-if scenarios such as adding or removing team members — with count charts and category index breakdowns. The New Hire StrengthsFirst Analysis is a comprehensive report supporting the hiring process, with per-candidate strength breakdowns and tailored interview talking points based on each candidate's profile.

Result: A Fully Operational Platform Delivered Without Disruption

Partner2Learn completed the vendor transition without any disruption to their client commitments or platform availability. Team8Rix is now fully operational across web, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook — with all four professional report formats in active use by Partner2Learn coaches delivering StrengthsFirst programs to enterprise clients.

The AI-powered Communication Enhancer enables managers to engage their teams in a more personalized, strengths-aware way — generating tailored messages that reflect each employee's unique CliftonStrengths profile rather than generic management communication.
